*NEW 3/27/26 – Dogs newly diagnosed with Blastomycosis
Even with long treatment times, as many as 20% of dogs can relapse. We want to learn if PET/CT scans can improve diagnosis and treatment of blastomycosis.
Is your dog eligible?
- Positive urine antigen test
- Before treatment started or within the first week
- Able to undergo general anesthesia
- Able to travel to Madison, WI for one PET CT scan at the start of treatment and one at the end of treatment
You will need to pay for the cost of diagnostics, but the study pays for the cost of 2 PET CT scans and associated anesthesia and hospitalization.
