*New 7/2025 - Looking for dogs with a Class II malocclusion (overbite)
The study is taking measurements of the jaw on a CT scan to look at ways to help future dogs with overbites.
Eligibility:
Class II malocclusion (overbite) + one of the following breeds:
- Labrador retriever
- Golden retriever
- Standard poodle
- Labradoodle (standard size)
- Goldendoodle (standard size)
- German Shepherd Dog
2 study visits required:
- First visit - 30 minute, screening visit with an oral exam, physical exam, and bloodwork.
- Second visit - drop off for 3-4 hours for sedated CT scan of the head/jaws.

Normal teeth:
Class II malocclusion. Is there a gap between the front teeth when the mouth is closed? Is the lower fang teeth behind or inside the upper one?
