Regional anesthesia and balanced anesthesia.
Responsibilities
Dr. Ferreira supervise anesthesia cases of small, large and exotic animals, providing training of 4th year veterinary students, anesthesia residents and technicians at the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital. She also consults for all the services in the hospital about sedation and analgesic protocols for different patients. Dr. Ferreira provides anesthesiology lectures for 2nd year veterinary students and assist in small and large animal anesthesia laboratories for 2nd-4th year veterinary students.
Clinical Interests
Anesthesia and pain management of small, large and exotic animals, and special interest in loco-regional anesthesia techniques.
