Jill Mielke

Titles and Education

  1. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from U.W.-Madison.
    I hold ASCP (American Society of Clinical Pathologists) certification.

Responsibilities

I am a senior Medical Technologist in the Clinical Pathology Lab.  I am in my 27th year with UW Veterinary Care.  My main responsibilities in the lab are in Immunology, Microbiology, and Hematology.  I enjoy all these areas very much and feel I'm continually learning, which is nice to say after all these years!  
I assist 4th year veterinary students, interns, residents and faculty with lab-related issues and questions.  I also help train students selected to work on-call after-hours in the lab.
