We welcome you to make an appointment at UW Veterinary Care with or without a referral. Our Small Animal Hospital serves dogs, cats, and exotic species (including birds, reptiles, and other small companion animals). Veterinarians in our Morrie Waud Large Animal Hospital see horses, camelids, bovine, and other farm and livestock species.
To make an appointment at either the Small Animal Hospital or Large Animal Hospital, please call us at 608-263-7600 (800-386-8684). Appointment hours are typically Monday through Friday, and our scheduling staff will assist you in finding an appointment with the right specialist at a time that works for you. Our emergency services for all species are also available 24/7 if your animal has a serious problem that requires immediate medical attention.
If your veterinarian has referred you to our hospital for a consultation, diagnostic services, or treatment, our expert staff will work closely with them to review your animal’s history, condition, and next steps for care.
If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment, please call us to cancel as soon as possible (preferably 24 hours in advance). Your cooperation will allow us to see another patient during that appointment time.
