Managing Your Animal’s Pain

When your pet is in pain, you want the best veterinary experts on your side to develop the most effective treatment plan possible. The pain management experts of UW Veterinary Care are trained to evaluate and treat chronic pain, whether it is the result of a temporary condition or a long-term chronic ailment.

Our pain management team, which includes certified Veterinary Acupuncturists, will work with you and your pet to create a tailored treatment plan that takes advantage of many pain control methods, from acupuncture to new pharmaceutical therapies. Specialists are available on an appointment basis, as well as for consultations with other veterinarians at the hospital. They have experience in treating animals of all sizes, including cats, dogs, horses and other large animals.
