Zoological and Wildlife Medicine

UW Veterinary Care is proud to provide zoos, aquaria, wildlife rehabilitation and wildlife research centers with access to our expertise through the Special Species Health Service. Working with our Special Species Health Service, our radiologists, surgeons and ophthalmologists frequently contribute their skills in the diagnosis and treatment of zoo animals.

We are proud to have Wisconsin’s only board-certified zoological medicine specialist.
