SONY DSCDentistry and Oral Surgery

Whether your pet needs routine or emergency dental care, you can count on the specialists at UW Veterinary Care to provide your pet with top-notch care using the latest tools and technologies in veterinary dentistry.

As one of the largest animal dentistry groups in the country, our patients have access to two of only four board-certified veterinary dental specialists in the state of Wisconsin. Our Dentistry and Oral Surgery team is prepared to address everything from common problems like broken teeth, root canals and periodontal disease to conditions involving major oral surgery. Our recently remodeled facilities feature the latest in veterinary anesthesia and anesthesia monitoring equipment.

While welcomed, referrals are not needed before you can seek treatment at UWVC. In most cases, your pet’s care will occur over two days. On the first day our expert team will thoroughly discuss your pet’s general medical and dental history, perform an oral exam, and walk you through their exam findings and treatment options. On the second day our team will perform the dental cleaning or surgery while your pet is anesthetized and carefully monitored.

Most procedures, like cleanings or treatments for common problems, take less than a day, so your pet will be back to their normal routine quickly.
