The Small Animal Internal Medicine service sees dogs and cats with diseases of the liver, pancreas, thyroid, adrenals, intestinal tract, kidneys and bladder, and immune system. Cases are seen on a referral only basis, following an initial evaluation by the pet's primary care veterinarian.


Highlights of the Service

The Small Animal Internal Medicine service has 5 veterinarians that are board certified in the specialty of Small Animal Internal Medicine.

The Small Animal Internal Medicine service also offers a fax-based consultation service (to veterinarians only) to provide second opinions on the management of complicated or difficult internal medicine cases.

New appointments are seen on Monday and Wednesday mornings. Special procedures are usually scheduled for the following day. Recheck appointments for ongoing patients are seen Monday through Thursday. Please have your veterinarian's office call the appointment desk to schedule an appointment.
