Large Animal Emergencies

Emergency medical and surgical service for large animals may be arranged at any time by calling the VMTH at 608-263-7600.

An emergency fee is charged for patients seen after regular business hours.

Small Animal Emergencies

The VMTH provides 24-hour emergency service every day of the year for all dogs and cats.

A veterinarian is on duty at all times, and on-call specialists will be contacted as necessary for complicated cases.

You do not have to be an established client of the VMTH or have a referral from your veterinarian to use this emergency service. You are not required to call ahead, but prior contact is helpful to best serve your pet's emergency needs.
